Want to try it? It’s easy. Here’s how:
- Simply, Schedule a Session and begin! Rest assured, the information you provide is strictly confidential and will not be shared with anyone.
- Choose either 8 or 12 meals that you would like to make. At this point, you can also choose the additional services of staff assembled meals for pick up or delivery.
- Then browse this month’s menu options—we offer a minimum of 16 entrées every month––all made with natural and/or organic ingredients.
- You can mix and match or make multiples of the exact same entrees! After all, you know what your family likes and how you’d like to feed them.
Full size entrees serve 4-6 adults. For singles, couples or empty nesters, you will be able to divide each family-sized portion into 2 "half size" portions (essentially leaving you with 12 or 24 meals!)
Use our calendar to reserve a session that is convenient for you. (Helpful hint: Just remember, each session takes about 2 hours (to assemble 12 dishes) and you should plan your time so that you can go directly home after your session to properly store your entrées.)
Show up 10 minutes before your scheduled session time. All pans are provided and are disposable and recyclable.
If you’d like to split the session with a friend, you may do that as well! Just let us know that you’ll be bringing a friend! Instead of using the full-sized pans, we’ll provide you with two half-sized pans.
Before You Come
Make sure you clear out enough space in your freezer and/or refrigerator to store the dishes that you assemble. All of our meals are made and stored in gallon, zip-up plastic bags or disposable foil pans. (In other words, you should plan to clear out enough space to accommodate 8 or 12 of these disposable foil pans, depending on which menu option you’ve chosen.)
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
While not a requirement, bringing along a cooler or other food-safe, insulated container to transport your meals home is the best way to provide proper temperature control, especially in warmer months. The cooler also helps to prevent the meals from potentially moving around the car.
After You Arrive
Check in with the session host at the front desk. You’ll be provided with a copy of your session confirmation email and a list of the entrées you selected. Then there will be a brief orientation where we take you through the process of preparing your meals.
Next put on your Victoria’s Kitchen apron, pull back your hair (if you can!), kick back and get ready to have some a good time!
Now the fun begins! You just pick a recipe to start with, head to the assembly stations and follow the simple directions to prepare your meals. Feel free to adjust the ingredients to your tastes.
When you’ve completed and packaged the recipe, affix the preprinted label with cooking directions. Place it in the refrigerator and move on to the next station.
When you’ve finished assembling all of your meals, you’re done! Ta-da! If you’ve got a family of 2 or 3, you just spent under 2 hours to prepare almost a month of meals! Just imagine what you can do with all of your new found time!
When You Get Home
Be sure to put your meals immediately in the freezer. (Helpful hint: you might want to leave 2-3 of your entrées unfrozen in your refrigerator to be eaten that week.)
Please plan your schedule the day of your session at Victoria’s Kitchen, so that you will be able to go home immediately after your meals are assembled. Even though you’ll be transporting your meals home in a cooler, it’s critical that your Victoria’s Kitchen entrées be refrigerated or frozen, as soon as possible after your session.
Enjoy the great taste and simplicity of homemade meals from Victoria’s Kitchen.
